  1. Jasminum nudiflorum | Farnham, Surrey, GU9 | Copyright Greenplantswap 2020
  2. Jasminum officinale | Farnham, Surrey, GU9
  3. Jasminum × stephanense | Farnham, Surrey, GU9

Pretty variegated jasmine, very fragrant, but with a very short flowering season in late June.

  4. Linaria purpurea | Farnham, Surrey, GU9

Electric purple spikes. A good-tempered plant that self-seeds nicely without ever being a nuisance. It flowers over a long period and is very much appreciated by bumble bees, especially late in the season.

  5. Linaria purpurea ‘Canon Went’ | Farnham, Surrey, GU9

Delicate shell-pink spikes, identical in all other respects to the species and similarly attractive to bees.

  6. Lonicera fragrantissima | Farnham, Surrey, GU9
  7. Lonicera japonica | Farnham, Surrey, GU9 | Copyright Greenplantswap 2020

Easy climber with highly scented blooms over a long period. Bee friendly.

  8. Lonicera periclymenum 'Belgica' | Farnham, Surrey, GU9

Early Dutch honeysuckle. Flowering in June.

  9. Lychnis flos-cuculi 'nana' | Farnham, Surrey, GU9

Spreading evergreen mats, with dainty 'Ragged Robin' flowers held about 7 cm above the foliage. A 'good doer' without becoming invasive, this is one of my best acquisitions of recent years.

  10. Morus nigra | Farnham, Surrey, GU9 | Copyright Greenplantswap 2020

Planted 30 years ago, this gives us about 12 Kg / 25 lbs fruit every year. Fabulous for pies, jam, chutney etc, and our mulberry vodka is extremely popular. When buying, make sure you get a self-fertile clone.
