My garden is (almost) finished, after ten years, and it's where I spend most of my free time. The soil was mostly solid clay and sandstone, so it has taken countless trips to the tip and endless digging/bags of grit, compost and soil improver to get it to a condition where anything will agree to grow in it. The garden is not low maintenance because I am a plantaholic! I make good use of my greenhouse for seeds and cuttings and would be happy to find new homes for my spares.
Happy to swap the plants on my listings for any bee-friendly, herbaceous perennials. Particular interests are Echinacea, Monarda, Veronica, Astrantia, Agastache, Salvia, Thalictrum etc.
Do check out my In my garden plant listings.
