East to West gardens with two greenhouses.Dual level pond and vegetables in raised beds. Four Alpine areas/gardens. Many plants in containers. After a disasterous loss of orchids (200+) due to tree branch falling on my large greenhouse in winter out of sight of the house I have decided to devote my cold greenhouse for alpines and succulents. I want to develop my interest in auriculas and intend to grow from seed this winter. There appears to be little interest in auriculas (show) in my area and I will have to source from distant nurseries. I have many heucheras which have self-seeded and will be developed when I can identify them.
I will be propogating alpines and primulas this winter and bound to have many swaps next year.My small collection of succulents are propogating but will not be ready for swaps for at least a year.
