I have a reasonable sized garden which is south facing and has been terraced as it was previously quite sloped, it also has a very small pond. The soil was very poor so has had a lot put into it over the past few years but this is on going. My neighbour is very kindly letting me borrow his greenhouse at the moment and I have fabricated an open " shack" for potting and suchlike.I absolutely love roses and have quite a lot mainly David Austin but would like to expand into old and heritage roses. I also have an allotment that also has a pond and flower bed but is mainly given over to vegetables. It also has very poor soil so has needed a lot of work.
I am always interested in old roses especially fragrant ones, peonies, ferns and anything that is unusual or cottagey or smells good. I am currently growing cuttings of roses and have various things in my garden that I can split or take seed from.
