Probably best described as cottage garden meets chaos. The front garden is small, originally set out as a scree bed but over a period of years has become more cottage garden. Our rear gardenn backs onto a small wood with a very large oak tree overhanging and has a range of perennias together with a NZ tree fern, eucalypt and a Ginkgo biloba, both grown from seed. There is a small pond and greenhouse.
Shortly I will be removing a 3 yr old Kiwi vine and later this year will be removing a large (red) camillia bush. There may also be a grape vine removed. At this time there will also be a number of hellebores taken out as they seem to be making a takeover bid. Mainly pale or dark pink, but some white.
