Tradescantia navicularis (Chain plant). This species is a tufted or trailing succulent with lanceolate to broadly ovate leaves with a green above and purple underside. The flowers are bright red-purple and will bloom in mid summer to mid autumn.


You will need to grow in full sun or partial-shade in fertile, moist to dry soil. Propagation is by division or from tip cuttings in the spring, summer or autumn.
