Asparagus falcatus

For sale by Shrubland Nurseries

This grower is sure of this plant identification.

A very vigorous climber for a frost-free conservatory clothed with long bright green flat leaves. Small scented white flowers may appear in summer, followed by red berries. This South African plant climbs by means of very sharp spines on its stems. It is a weed in Australia, here it is not likely to be a problem as it is frost tender.
