Thujopsis dolabrata

This grower is sure of this plant identification.

There is no such thing as a true dwarf conifer, but this is the nearest and most obliging you will find. Flattened shiny green foliage, white patches underneath, makes an interesting specimen plant.

Grower Notes

Very slow growing, and easy to keep under control: when it eventually gets a little too large, simply remove branches or parts of branches as you wish. Sun or shade, any soil. Not too good in a patio pot as it tends to spread sideways - but fun if you'd like to try bonsai without the fuss.
