Acer x conspicuum 'Red Flamingo' has deep red young shoots striped with white, sinous lines once mature. The leaves emerge variegated pink in spring then turn darker pink and white, which stands out well on the otherwise green leaves.

Also with colourful winter bark, it is a fantastic large shrub or small branching tree with year round interest!

Description

Acer × conspicuum ‘Red Flamingo’. This striking snakebark maple has red stems and mid green leaves variegated with white and pink. The bark is a vivid red with silver striations. This variety is a selection found in W.J.Hoofman Nurseries in the Netherlands as a sport of another snakebark maple called Silver Cardinal.
