This beautiful, unusual maple has excellent cream/pink variegated foliage not as prone to scorch as some variegated maples.

Acer x conspicuum 'Silver Cardinal' has a delightful 'snake' effect trunk, with silver lines that contrast vividly with the glossy pink bark. The young leaves emerge creamy pink then darken to green and white. Ideal for brightening up areas in dappled light under trees.

Acer × conspicuum ‘Silver Cardinal’. This 'snakebark' maple has mid-green leaves, marbled with cream and pink. The young stems are bright red and the bark on the mature branches is olive green with silver striations.
