Berberis thunbergii ‘Aurea’

For sale by Bluebell Nursery

This grower is sure of this plant identification.

One of the most delightful small foliage plants, Berberis thunbergii 'Aurea' has glorious golden yellow leaves which show strong red tints in a good autumn.

The leaves need sun light to colour properly but can sometimes be burnt in too hot a position. So partial shade in a hot garden is best. A great plant for smaller gardens or containers which can really brighten up otherwise dark areas.

Supplied Size: 3L containers (30 - 40 cm tall)
