Betula albo-sinensis var. septentrionalis

For sale by Bluebell Nursery

This grower is sure of this plant identification.

A handsome species from W. China, this Betula has mahogany-red peeling bark which compliments the creamy coloured trunk. The superb bark is even on quite young plants and gives fantastic winter interest. The leaves are pale green in spring/summer, before turning golden-yellow in a good, crisp autumn.

A little more vigorous Betula suited to slightly larger gardens.

Supplied Size: 15 - 20L containers (specimen plants approx 230-250+ cm tall)
