Carpinus betulus ‘Globus’

For sale by Bluebell Nursery

This grower is sure of this plant identification.

A handsome, sought after and slow-growing hornbeam, Carpinus betulus 'Globus' grows into a distinctive, tear-shaped small tree. Leaves are dark green in spring/summer and turn a rich mustard-yellow in autumn. The architectural habit makes this tree handsome even in the depths of winter without a leaf on it!

A very striking tree that is very slow growing and requires patience.

Supplied Size: 3L container (3-4 years old, 30 - 50 cm tall)
