Cercidiphyllum japonicum ‘Rotfuchs’

For sale by Bluebell Nursery

This grower is sure of this plant identification.

A narrow Cercidiphyllum, 'Rotfuchs' has deep purple leaves in spring, which turn glaucous blue as the year progresses. Established plants can have lovely creamy yellow/orange autumn colour.

It has a very narrow, upright habit and is said when mature to resemble a foxes tail ('Rotfuchs' means 'Red Fox' in German). The narrow habit makes it a good choice for smaller gardens.

Supplied Size: 4L containers (60 - 80 cm tall)
