This grower is fairly sure of this plant identification.
You will have to come and dig it up (I can help). I don't know the variety. Currently in winter state.
Syringa genus (Lilac). There are about 20 species of deciduous shrubs and trees, which are grown for their arching panicles of small, very fragrant blooms. They will bloom from mid-spring in shades of pale yellow, white, pinks, and purples. The leaves are grown in an opposite form.
They are fully hardy and will need full sun with deep fertile, well drained, preferably alkaline soil in sun or light shade.
Grown for their dense panicles of fragrant, small, tubular, bee and butterfly attracting flowers.
