A tough, evergreen, ground cover plant, Euonymus fortunei var coloratus has a dense growing habit and forms a sprawling, thick, bushy mat. It has lustrous, dark green leaves which develop purple and orange tints in autumn and winter.

It is a versatile plant good as ground cover and ideal on slopes, where it can help control erosion or in shaded areas.
