Fairly large, established specimen, needs a new home due to re-landscaping
Gypsophila repens (Alpine gypsophila). This is a prostrate perennial with stems which form low mounds up to 20cm high and 45cm across. It has narrow bluish-green leaves and will bear panicles of star-shaped white, lilac or pale purple flowers in the summer.
They are fully hardy and will needs a sunny position. They will grow in dry sandy and stony soils, but it grows well in deep well drained soil.
Summer interest. Suitable for coastal conditions.
