This grower is sure of this plant identification.

A low growing ground cover species, Mahonia repens has glossy, dark green leaves and masses of golden yellow flowers in spring. These flowers are spectacular viewed against the dark foliage.

In winter, the leaves are tinged with purple turning back to green again in the following spring. A tough and easy to grow plant, the low habit makes this ideal for use as ground cover.
