Fatsia japonica (Fatsia). This is an upright spreading evergreen bushy species. It will grow to a beehive shape about 1.25m high. The glossy dark green leaves are deeply lobed. The white-cream flowers are produced in umbels of in the autumn and they are followed by blackish fruits.

Grow in humus rich, well-drained soil in a sheltered position.
