An unusual, elegant evergreen oak, Quercus x hispanica 'Fulhamensis' has dark green leaves and handsome, vertically fissured, corky bark even on quite young specimens.

A lovely large garden tree with an eye-catching trunk.

Grower Notes

Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
Soil: Well drained, fertile soil. Quercus x hispanica 'Fulhamensis' will tolerate chalky soils.
Hardiness: Hardy. Quercus x hispanica 'Fulhamensis' appreciates shelter from cold winter winds.
Rate of Growth: Slow until established then moderate..
Habit: Large tree with a branching rounded crown and once established, graceful slightly pendulous branches.
Height: 25 m (82 ft)
Spread: 20 m (65 ft)

Notes: Quercus x hispanica 'Fulhamensis' do not generally transplant well and should be left undisturbed once planted in position.
