Common names



Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary). This is a perennial subshrub which has aromatic foliage. It is upright with strong woody branches, and leaves which are narrow and deep green. The flowers are lavender blue. The oil from the leaves is used medicinally.


They will prefer a sunny site with poor, well drained soil.
