At present in over-abundance in my garden. Would supply roots and leaves
to flower in your garden next year.
Japanese anemone, Japanese windflower
Anemone × hybrida (Japanese anemone). The branching stems of this upright anemone are covered with seedheads in winter that look like cottonballs. The leaves are mid green and comprised of three oval leaflets. The cup-shaped and semi-double flowers have pale pink petals and yellow anthers and are held in sprays throughout late summer and early autumn.
Japanese Anemones like moisture-retentive soils and are low-maintenance plants which are suitable for borders or rock gardens. Clumps best if left undivided. Watch out, it is poisonous. These plants may need protection from wind.
Mixed borders, rock garden.
