Asparagus plumosus (Asparagus fern). This species is a twining climber with feathery foliage it will produce clusters of deep green stems. The flowers are single with tiny white blooms in the summer.


They are grown for their foliage or for food. Fully hardy to frost tender, min 10C. Grow them in partial shade or bright light, but not in direct sun, in any fertile well drained soil. Harvesting may start in late spring and may end in early summer.
