With regular deadheading, this magnificent hardy perennial can bloom almost continuously from May right through to October, attracting a host of bees and butterflies throughout the season. Description

Salvia farinacea ‘Alba’ (Blue salvia). This moderately fast-growing, upright annual has lance-shaped, medium green leaves. In mid summer, there are spikes of white flowers.

Cultivation

Some species will tolerate only light frosts, but some of the perennials are more frost-hardy. They will grow well when planted in full sun in well drained light soil with adequate watering in the summer.
