This grower is sure of this plant identification.

A rare, deciduous climber with inconspicuous summer flowers but distinctive large, purple / blue fruit in autumn and beautiful dark green, lobed leaves. The masses of colourful fruit are really eye-catching but are not edible.

Ampelopsis glandulosa var maximowiczii is a very interesting and handsome climber, especially when allowed to ramble up an old tree / shrub or up trellis.

Supplied Size: 2L deep containers (40 - 60 cm tall)
