A fabulous perennial for late summer colour, Anemone x hybrida 'Honorine Jobert' has masses of elegant white flowers from August well into autumn. Generally flowers best in a sunny position or light, dappled shade and an excellent choice for planting at the back of a border.

Soil: Ideally moist but well drained soil.
Hardiness: Hardy.

Habit: Anemone x hybrida 'Honorine Jobert' grows to be a medium sized clump forming perennial.

Anemone × hybrida ‘Honorine Jobert’ (Japanese anemone). A vigorous, branching perennial. Produces slightly cupped, pure white flowers with yellow stamens, carried on wiry stems in late summer and early autumn. The leaves are deeply divided and dark green.


Japanese Anemones like moisture-retentive soils and are low-maintenance plants which are suitable for borders or rock gardens. Clumps best if left undivided. Watch out, it is poisonous. These plants may need protection from wind.
