An excellent selection of Geranium which has been selected for the colourful dark markings on the leaves. The flowers are dark purple or nearly black in colour and very pretty when viewed against the unusual leaves.

Geranium phaeum 'Samobor' is an superb ground cover plant and a fine choice for a cottage garden or informal border.

Geranium phaeum ‘Samobor’ (Dusty cranesbill). This species is an evergreen perennial with 7-9 lobed pale green leaves. The flowers are produced in cymes of white, deep purple, black small blooms in the spring to summer.


When grown outdoors grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil with full sun. When grown under glass use a loam-based compost.
