A striking plant native to North America, Rudbeckia nitida 'Juligold' has large golden-yellow flowers in mid to late summer with olive green 'cones' in their centre. This plant is particularly suitable for adding height to a border and when in flower can be similar in appearance to a display of yellow fireworks.

The flowers of Rudbeckia nitida 'Juligold' can be cut and used in flower arranging.

Grown for its flowers, which are also attractive to bees and other beneficial insects. Good at the back of traditional herbaceous borders.
