Miscanthus sinensis ‘Zebrinus’

For sale by Bluebell Nursery

This grower is sure of this plant identification.

A reliable and handsome grass, Miscanthus sinensis 'Zebrinus' earns its name from the creamy coloured bands on the leaves. The broadly arching leaves are wider than many other Miscanthus sinensis varieties. Their lovely maroon autumn growth compliments the russet shades of the older leaves.

Long tassel flowers in August turn into silvery seed heads later on, giving good winter interest.
