Description

Ajuga reptans ‘Atropurpurea’ (Bugleweed). An evergreen, ground-cover perennial, spreading freely by runners. Has small rosettes of rounded, dark-purple leaves tinted bronze on a bronze stem. In the spring, short spikes of blue flowers appear.

Cultivation

Watch out for crown rot; it can be a problem so plant in well-ventilated areas and divide every 2 to 3 years. Powdery mildew.

Interest and use

Ground cover, shade, rock garden, bedding.

    Unusual varieties of hostas. I have about 500 different varieties and am looking for more. Can offer about 1/3rd of these to swap (hosta for hosta), most of which are listed.
