Stachys byzantina (Lamb's ears). This species of perennial is evergreen, which has white-grey woolly leaves. The flowers are small, pink-purple and appear in whorls which are borne on spikes in late spring and early summer.


It prefers well drained, fertile soil but will tolerate poor soil and drought, and will dislike hot humid summers. Prune back in spring.
