Ophiopogon planiscapus. This is an evergreen perennial with leaves that are dark green to purple and glossy. The flowering spikes will appear in the summer, the tiny white blooms are flushed with pink.


These plants are fairly frost hardy, they will tolerate sun or partial-shade in moist, well-drained soil. They are propagated by division of clumps in spring, or from seed in the autumn.
