Alpine squill, Squill
Scilla bifolia (Alpine squill). This species produces a one-sided spike with up to 20 star-shaped, 6-petalled, blue, pink or white flowers in early spring. It can grow about 15cm high with a spread of 5cm and has long, narrow dark green leaves that widen towards the tips.
They should be planted in the autumn in average garden soil with full sun to light shade. You should divide in late summer when clumps become crowded.
Found in forest areas.
