Eryngium campestre (Field eryngo). A glaucous perennial growing to 60cm tall. The basal leaves grow up to 20cms, are triangular-ovate in outline, leathery and spiny-serrate.


They are fully to half hardy. Grow in sun with fertile well drained soil.

Grown for their flowers, foliage and habit. Suitable for coastal conditions.
