Prunus incisa (Fuji cherry). A small tree to 9m with oval, sharply toothed leaves that are reddish when unfolding in spring, darkening to green in summer then orange-red in autumn. The pink buds open to white or pale pink and appear in early spring before the leaves. ‘Praecox’ flowers in early winter.
You should plant in moist, well-drained soil in full sun, remember to protection from strong winds.
