Lovely stout lilac-blue flower spikes top stems with whorls of pointed leaves down the entire length. An American native that attracts pollinators.
An outstanding eastern North American native wildflower, deserving of a special spot in any sunny border. This selection forms a tall, bushy clump of deep green leaves, bearing stocky, branching, lilac-blue candelabra-like flower spikes. Flowering starts midsummer and continues into the autumn.
