Description

Mentha × piperita ‘Citrata’ (Bergamot mint). This spreading perennial has spikes of small, tubular, purple flowers with two lips in late summer. A carpet of oval, dark green, strongly scented leaves appears.

They are very frost hardy, and need sunshine and rich soil with lots of moisture. You can propagate from seed or by root division in spring or autumn.
