Nemesia genus. The genus consists of about 50 species of annuals, perennials and subshrubs. The flowers are showy and trumpet-shaped they are borne singly or in terminal racemes. The leaves are opposite and simple.
They will need a protected, sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil. They will not tolerate very hot, humid climates. Cut back stems after flowering. Pinch out growing shoots of young plants to ensure a bushy habit.
Summer bedding, window boxes, containers and greenhouse plants. Multi-coloured blooms are easily grown.
