Papaver alpinum (Alpine poppy). This is a short-lived perennial, the leaves are fine greyish leaves. It will bear white or yellow flowers in the summer. This species will prefer a little lime in the soil.
They are fully to frost hardy and will prefer little or no shade with deep, moist, well-drained soil. You should sow the seed in spring or autumn.
