Cotyledon ladysmithensis. A bushy branching sub-shrub. Mid green leaves are oblong, hairy and toothed. Flowers are 2cm red-brown and are nodding on stalks. Native to South Africa; Cape Province.


They are frost tender, min 5-7C, and will prefer a sunny or partially shaded site with very well drained soil.

Interest and use

Grown for their diverse foliage that ranges from large, oval, grey leaves to small, cylindrical, mid-green leaves.
