Plant Finder: about Veltheimia bracteata

Veltheimia bracteata. This species produces wavy, glossy green leaves which grow in a rosette. The rocket-like blooms are produced on strong, upright stalks, which are borne in early spring to late spring. The drooping, tubular flowers are pink, red or pale yellow and about 45cm tall and will spread 30cm.

You should plant the bulbs in the autumn in moist rich, well-drained soil with good light.
