Sempervivum arachnoideum (Cobweb houseleek). This species produces a web of white hairs that cover the green, triangular-leafed rosettes. The flowers are pink to crimson in loose terminal clusters throughout the summer.


You can plant in full sun in a gravelly very well-drained soil.

Interest and use

Rock gardens. Summer interest. Suitable for coastal conditions.
