It’s pretty nodding blue flowers will attract many beneficial insects to your garden and is mostsuitable for planting under shrubs or roses and looks well in a wildflower meadow

Symphytum caucasicum (Caucasian comfrey). This is a downy upright perennial which is grown for its foliage and drooping flowers which open in pink then turn blue; the petals are longer than the sepals and will create an elegant bloom.


They can be easily grown in sun or partial-shade in moist, well-dug soil with added manure.
