Small, brown glazed terracotta bowl, 4 in in diameter, containing four succulent plants: Aeonium arboreum "Schwarzkopf"; Portulacaria afra variegata; Mammillaria gracilis and Astrophytum myriostima.
Aeonium arboreum ‘Schwarzkopf’. Also known as 'Zwartkop'. Bushy perennial succulent with stems each crowned by a rosette, to 15cm across. Produces rich, glossy purplish-black, narrow leaves. Bears golden pyramids of flowers in spring on 2-3 year old stems, which then die. Although similar, this plant has shorter stems and smaller rosettes than Aeonium arboreum 'Atropurpureum'.
Needs partial sun and well drained soil. Place in a sheltered position.
