This grower is sure of this plant identification.

Happy to swap healthy TUBERS of an UNKNOWN COLOCASIA TARO variety. TUBERS are firm, egg-sized, striped and a bit hairy, sometimes sprouted slightly. Tubers grow into knee high plants with true green leaves, each leaf larger than the last as it develops. Grown outside in London pretty much all year round but die down in winter of course.

Colocasia genus (Taro). This genus consists of deciduous or evergreen perennial, marginal water plants. The leaves are heart-shaped. The flowers are small and pale yellow or cream. It is suitable for the edges of frost-free pools, It may also be grown in wet soil in pots. They are frost tender, and should be grown in sun or light shade in mud or shallow water. You can propagate by division in the spring.
