Description

Alchemilla alpina (Alpine lady's mantle). This perennial is mat forming and has an erect, flowering stem and leaves that are greyish green above and silvery underneath. The flowers, which appear in summer, are very small and are greenish yellow. It grows to a height 15cm with a spread of about 45cm.

Cultivation

They are fully hardy and can be grown in all but boggy soils, with sun or partial shade.
