I have about 15 varieties of Streptocarpus. I'd like to swap for other plants
Streptocarpus ‘Bethan’ (Cape primrose). This genus consists of about 130 species of annuals, perennials and rarely subshrubs. There are various types, shrubby bushy species with vigorous growth, rosette plants, and single-leafed species which produce one very large leaf about 1m long. The flowers are tubular with 5 lobes.
They are frost tender, min 10-15C. They will prefer partial-shade and leafy, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in bright light, but away from direct sunlight.
Grown for its showy flowers.
