This grower is sure of this plant identification.
Viburnum tinus (Laurustinus). This species contain evergreen shrubs which have very dense foliage, and are about 4m tall. The dark green pointed, elliptical leaves are about 10cm long, which will develop purplish tones in cold weather. The flowers are produced in clusters of white blooms which open from pink buds from late winter, followed by blue-black berries.
They are moderately frost hardy. Grow them in any well-drained soil in sun or light shade.
