Galtonia viridiflora. This species has lance-shaped grey-green leaves, they will reach a height of 1m. It will bear arching stems of nodding, trumpet-shaped pale green flowers in late summer.


They are frost hardy and will need a sheltered, sunny site with fertile well drained soil that does not dry out in the summer. Dies down in winter. May be lifted for replanting in spring.

Interest and use

Grown for their elegant spikes of pendant, funnel shaped, white or green flowers.
