Honesty, Money plant, Silver dollar, Penny flower
Lunaria annua (Honesty). Despite the botanical name, this is a hardy biennial. It is grown for its flowering stalks of pink, purple or white flowers that become silvery, paper-like seed pods. These pods are used widely in floral and dried arrangements. They will self-sow readily and can tolerate some drought.
You can plant in full sun or partial-shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil.
Dried arrangements, ornamental, fragrance.
